Overview
Following the success of previous events, Malibu gave students the opportunity to take part in the Malibu ‘Seriously Easy’ sampling campaign and scratch card promotion, endorsed by Malibu’s Seriously Easy Global Ambassador, Shaggy.

The promotion was created in order to re-establish Malibu as part of the students drinking repertoire, and to aid this, Malibu devised a refreshing new way to drink it; Malibu + cranberry juice + slice of lime = Refreshing and Seriously Easy

Malibu and cranberry events took place at UK Student Unions (two nights at each) 
Upon arrival, staff checked students to see how ‘Seriously Easy Going’ they were. All entrants were then given a VIP pass with drink vouchers and a ‘Shaggy Goatee’. Throughout the night promotional staff invited students to ‘Shake it Like Shaggy’ to win prizes from Shaggy’s special box and offer photo opportunities with a cardboard cut-out Shaggy

Throughout the course of the 143 events, over 100,000 students sampled the Malibu brand.  The campaign went on to win an Institute of Promotion Gold Award
