Overview
Making Waves created, managed and executed a proprietary tour to position Orange as the choice for UK students
Our ‘Orange Enjoy Music Tour’ became the most innovative and successful music programme held in the student arena to date.
Activity
- Tour logistics, management and activation
- Securing talent (Ian Brown)
- Design and production of interactive units (including listening pods, text kiosks, gaming units and a ‘vox pops’ booth)
- Venue design and decoration
- Design and production of promotional literature and merchandise
Results
- Visited 121 student unions
- Attended by in excess of 200,000 students
- Campaign awareness estimated at 1.5 million per year, over 3 years
- Ensured the brand developed a rapport with 5 generations of students
- The tour was awarded the Hollis Award for best use of sponsorship within the arts and also ensured Orange remained the number one choice for students on campus
